I usually don't eat anything with a face

Hey everyone,
This morning I feel completely out of energy, I've got a pretty bad cold.. and I'm wondering who gave this to me. My guess is my 2 year old nephew, but he's so cute so I can't really blame him.
Anyway I stayed home from school today(I only had one lesson so it's not that bad), and I made one of my favourite breakfasts-
Raw food vegan yogurt, with a face *giggle*.

For me this is a really good start in the morning, it's like an energi booster.
And it's not that hard to make, it takes a little time yes, but it's completely worth it.
This one in the picture is a blueberry, raspberry yogurt with almond milk. (In this particular recipe I used swedish measure)
This is for 2 portions

Ingridients:

For the "yogurt" or "rawgurt" as some call it.

0.75dl soaked buckwheat (for 8 hours)
0.5dl soaked sunflower seed
2-3dl frozen berries of own choice (I used 2dl blueberries and 1 dl raspberries)
1 frozen banana
1-2tbsp coconut nectar, or sweetner of choice
1/2 tsp vanilla powder
0.5dl plant based milk of own choice (For this one I used almond milk)

Topping of own choice, I used fresh blueberries, fresh raspberries, pumpkind seeds, sunflower seeds, dried apricot, almonds and a little bee pollen.

You'll also need a food prossesor for this recipe as well.

Directions:

Rinse of and soak the seeds for about eight hours in preferably filtered water. I usually do it before I go to bed so it's not 8 hours exactly.
After the soaking time rinse the seeds again and put them in the a food processor prefarably a high speed and mix the ingridients together with the sweetening of choice and vanilla powder and let it blend for a while untill it becomes smooth and creamy.
Add  the frozen banana and continue to blend until a soft consistensy.
Add in the berries and continue to blend. When it becomes "yougurtish" way add the plant based milk and mix.
Serve right away after together with the topping of your own choice and as I said to my mother when I gave this to her "frukosten är serverad" (the breakfast is served!)

I never get tired of this "yogurt", in this ones from the picture below I made a mangoe and bluberrie yogurt and also a raspberrie coconut yogurt.

Berries berries berries

Hejsan hopsan and good morning world!
This is a day when you wish you could just go out in the forest and spend a day outside. I used to live on a horsefarm many years ago. So I'm a little of a, as we say in Sweden "lantlolla" I just love to be outside and pick bluberries, raspberries and chantarelles etc.. But I'm stuck in the middle of the city and the only good forest around here is the running trails in a place called Rocklunda, wich is not my favourit place if I'm not going to run the trails.

Altough I was suppose to go and eat lunch at a family friends retsturant, she's always so kind when I come and gives me a special vegan plate. Thank you Lotta!
But I'm not feeling to well, and I never ever get sick so this is unusall bad luck considerating school starts tomorrow. And don't take me wrong I feel great about starting school again, but I just don't want to bring my unwanted bacteria friends to the first day.

So today it's all about drinking water and eat "steal" the last blueberries and raspberries me and mom have left from the last time we went picking. I make a really mumsig raw food vegan yogurt of it, I will post a good recipe of it at some point.

And from my last post, here is a good article of why you definitely should eat organic bananas, in case you're wondering why bananas needs to be organic.(The article is in swedish though)
To be short it's better for you, the animals, the ones who works with it (Organic banans are usually faitrade certified) and of course the planet. It's as simple as that.

Raw food banana chocolate ice cream

Well my first posts wasn't suppose to be about ice cream... But oh well this is one of my favourite desserts, since I don't eat odinary Ice cream I make this healthy raw food sort instead. And it's so simple to make and it tastes amazingly good, and it's all organic of course!
Raw food is something I really adore, it is not that common in Sweden as in America, where the food diet comes from, (even though I would say that raw food is something we've used to eat since the cavemans walked on earth)

Anyway here's the recipe for this one:
2 large portions

Ingridients:

2 frozen bananas (Frozen for at least 4 hours)
1-2 pitted dates
1/2 tsp vanilla powder
2-3 tbsp raw cacao powder
1-2tbsp agavenetar

(You'll need a food prossesor for this)

directions:

Take out the frozen bananas and put them in a food processor with the pitted dates, agave and the vanilla powder, start to mix.
When the bananas is starting to become more "creamy" stop the machine and add in the cacao powder. (I do this so the cacao won't "dust up"too much in the machine) mix until the consistens is soft cremish.

Now, you can either eat it as it is in the soft way or you can refreeze it again to achive the scoop ice cream way. Both of them are really nice.

In this recipe I've refrozen it for 4 hours so I could scoop it up, I served it with raspberries, raw cashews and almond and cashew butter. Yummi!
